Creating my own Flappy birds game

Hi everyone,
My goal was to make my own custom  Flappy Birds game.  I used code.org and looked at YouTube video's about computer programming when I had to gather information for my inquiry. 

My game:
My game is about going through all the  obstacles.  You get 1 point if you clear them safely.  If you hit an obstacle or the ground its game over.  It lets you choose to be different character's.  Sometimes the obstacles are hard and sometimes its easy.  If you're interested in having a go, here is the link:  http://studio.code.org/c/98810288]

What worked:

I found it easy to create the background and settings in the game. There are lots of characters to choose from too.  Designing and creating the obstacles came easily. Creating a leader board was the part I did not know how to do, I am pretty sure you can't make a leader board.... 

What next:
I want to make my own game from scratch instead of making a copy of another game like I have here.  The Year 8 boys - Ronaldo and Haihana used Sploder to create their game.  I'll probably use this site. 

In conclusion:
I really enjoyed learning about creating games. I think I want to keep learning about computer programming (we call it coding) as it's a career I can see myself doing.

Geometric art

Hello world , I work with a group of students in a flipped classroom.  We were asked to describe one of four art pieces shown below. So your job is to try and figure out what art piece is mine 1,2,3 or 4. Comment if you know what number I have chosen. Good luck.

There’s a colour as bright as the sun that is coated and round in the shape of a tyre.  You can’t miss it because it has a bright star in its center.  Under this shape you will find  a 2D box that looks like an interesting looking frame. In my chosen art piece you will also find a broken arrow.  In the top left hand corner you will discover  a shape that has three sharp and pointy sides . In the background, all these shapes seem to float inside an old  tv. Two skinny sticks and one brick, mirror my imaginary face I seem to see when looking at this art piece. They look like a sharp pointy nose with a tiny sad mouth. There  is one eye with a eyebrow and above it you can’t miss the three stacked pimples piled on top of each other.  They’re as tall as maunga Tauanui.
